If you have a lot of samples in this folder, you may wish to just zip up individual internal folders you want to edit. You will create a zip file you can then drag to your desktop as backup. ❖ ❖ TIP - Before you edit anything in your library make a backup up the entire Audio Music Apps folder ( by Right clicking on it ( or + Click ) on it an select' Compress Audio Music Apps'. So, I"m good to go and I hope that helps anyone still not up and running. There was no file in that folder and the folder had Alias as the name. I did notice something in the Application Support, maybe this was the problem all along. Go into the Preferences and copy all the preferences that have something to do with Logic, first delete the ones that are there, because obviously they aain't working!, Then under Application Support/Logic/ put the database file in there and that did the trick for me. So here is what I did for those of you that are still having issues with this. Woke up this morning wondering how I can fix this, if I can get it to work in one place, I should be able to get it to work in others. That worked, including my new loops that I had purchased. Wow, this has been an adventure to say the least! I used Logic almost daily and all the sudden, my loops were gone, after purchasing some new ones and I was so excited to try them, but could not load them, all the Apple Loops, everything gone! I read every post and then some twice, trying everything and nothing worked but the one suggestion of someone saying open a new log in account and start from scratch. or some other weird problem/conflict going on with your system, somewhere. as it would seem you do have some kind of system corruption/deep permissions issue, plist problem. I would call Apple directly and have them take a look/see via Remote Desktop. Note: If you cannot find any of the files listed, you did not follow the instructions exactly as written! □ You may need to set up your control surfaces again after deleting this) (Note this is the control surface settings file. Remove the .cs file from the preferences folder.You might want to export your custom key commands before performing this step.
